What a zfo file holds
The package lists the sender, the recipient, the subject and the delivery time, then one or more files. The main file is often a PDF. Other files are attachments. A delivery receipt has the event log and no files.
Save the PDFs and the seal
Drop the .zfo here. You see the file list, the message fields and the name on the seal. Download one file, or download all of them as a ZIP. Download the original if you need the sealed package itself.
Open a zfo to pdf when you only need to read
Choose the file above and download the PDF you want to read. The page works on a phone and on a computer. The message never leaves the device, and there is no account.
What is a .zfo file?
A .zfo file is a message from a Czech data box, datová schránka. It is a signed XML package. The documents sit inside as separate files.
Where did I get it?
It comes from the data-box portal or from a program such as Datovka. The portal also sends delivery receipts that contain no documents.
Is it safe?
Yes. SignedDocs reads the package in your browser. The file is not uploaded and there is no account. Keep the original .zfo: it is the sealed message.
Why won't it open by double-click?
A computer does not treat .zfo as a PDF. The documents are encoded inside signed XML. Open the file here to list them.
How to open it on iPhone/Android?
Open this page in Safari or Chrome and choose the .zfo from Files. The file list and the seal name appear on the phone.
Is the PDF still legally valid?
A PDF you download is a copy of one file from the message. The sealed record is the original .zfo. Save that file. This page is not a legal validation.
What is a doručenka?
A doručenka is a delivery receipt. It records that a message was delivered and does not contain the message files. The page says so instead of showing an empty list.
