Open an ES3 File Online and Convert to PDF
Free. The file never leaves your device. Works on phone and computer.
Download the documents enclosed inside Hungarian e-Szignó dossiers and save each file as a readable PDF. An es3 to pdf converter is what you need when an official attachment will not open: SignedDocs pulls out the enclosed files right in your browser.
Save an es3 to pdf dossier
Drop your file on this page. SignedDocs unpacks every document enclosed in the Hungarian dossier, handles zip or raw deflate compression automatically, and identifies PDFs, XML data, and extra attachments. You can review the files, check signer details, and save individual files or download the full set in a ZIP archive.
- Multi-document dossiers show each file clearly in the file list
- Compressed files are decompressed immediately in browser memory
- Encrypted documents remain safe and are marked with a lock badge
- Container timestamps and signer certificates are detailed in the side panel
What the signature panel does not do
The signature panel shows the data stored inside the electronic signature. It does not check certificates against the official European Union trusted list, and it does not make a legal determination. For a formal legal validation, use the official e-Szignó or EU DSS validator. SignedDocs is not a government agency.

What is an .es3 file?
An .es3 file is a signed electronic dossier from the Hungarian e-Szignó system. It packages one or more documents, electronic signatures and timestamps into structured XML.
Where did I get it?
It usually comes from Hungarian government portals, courts, legal proceedings or business partners using e-Szignó software by Microsec.
Is it safe?
Yes. SignedDocs parses the dossier entirely inside your browser. No files are uploaded to any server. Keep the original .es3 file as your legal proof.
Why won't it open by double-click?
Operating systems have no built-in viewer for e-Szignó XML dossier packages. Without dedicated software, computers treat it as unknown data.
How to open it on iPhone/Android?
Open this page in Safari or Chrome, pick the .es3 file from your device files or mail attachment, and view the extracted documents directly on your phone.
Is the PDF still legally valid?
The PDF you download is a copy of the content. The proof of the signature is the original file. Save that file. This page is not a legal validation.
What about an .et3 file?
An .et3 file is an electronic recorded delivery dossier from the same Hungarian e-Szignó ecosystem. SignedDocs handles .et3 files the exact same way as .es3.
