Open a .tsd file online and save the document
Free. The file never leaves your device. Works on phone and computer.
Download the document inside a tsd file without installing a reader. SignedDocs also opens .m7m, which carries the same kind of timestamp in a mail message.
What a tsd file holds
The container stores the document and one or more time stamps. The document is often a .p7m, so you see both the signer and the later timestamp. If the container has no document, the page says so instead of showing an empty preview.
Save the PDF and keep the timestamp
Drop the file here. You get the PDF, the names from any inner signature, and the timestamp time. Download the PDF for reading. Download the original to keep the timestamp. The extracted PDF is a copy of the content, not a replacement for the .tsd.
Open a tsd file on this page
Choose the file above and download the PDF when you only need to read it. The same page works on a phone and on a computer. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.
What is a .tsd file?
A .tsd file is a timestamp container. It holds a document, often already signed, and a time-stamp token that records when that package existed.
Where did I get it?
In Italy it arrives from the same mail and portals that send .p7m and .m7m. The timestamp is added by a time-stamp authority.
Is it safe?
Yes. SignedDocs opens the container in your browser. The file is not uploaded and there is no account. Keep the original .tsd: it is the timestamped record.
Why won't it open by double-click?
A computer has no built-in reader for a timestamp container. Double-click finds no app. Open the file on this page instead.
How to open it on iPhone/Android?
Open this page in Safari or Chrome and choose the file from Files or the mail attachment. The PDF preview and the timestamp appear on the phone.
Is the PDF still legally valid?
The PDF you download is a copy of the content. The timestamp lives in the original .tsd or .m7m. Save that file. This page is not a legal validation.
What is the difference between .tsd and .m7m?
A .tsd file is one ASN.1 timestamp container. A .m7m file is a MIME message that carries a CMS part and a timestamp reply. This page opens both.
